Christmas Eve Dinner

For Chirstmas Eve we decided to host dinner for some of our friends from the Cleveland area along with the missionaries.  We had Dan and Kealy Graves with their daughter Evelyn, Elder Hansen, Elder Bills, Linda Brannan (our friend Jesse's mom, they were in Washington), and a sweet dear sister from our ward, Nancy Tuttle.
Christopher and Nathanial sitting at the children's table (it was covered in paper and they colored all over it)
Linda, Ryan, Elder Hansen, Elder Bills, Nancy, and Little Girl Evelyn
Ryan, Emily, Elder Bills, Elder Hansen, Kealy, Nancy, Dan, and Linda
We had a great dinner: ham, potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cheese ball, veggie tray, jello salad, green salad, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, juice, rolls, and other yummy food!
Christopher's favorite part was playing in the jello jigglers.
Nathanial's favorite part was playing in the jello too.
Pure happiness!
After dinner we cleaned up and opened our Christmas Eve present, starting with the youngest...
Emily's first Christmas present.
She thought it was yummy!
She got candy cane jammies with a reindeer on them.  They are CUTE! Emily was so tired and overstimulated that she was more than ready for bed.
They have a reindeer on the bum.
Christopher was next...
He could hardly wait...
He was so excited....
Mario!  His face says it all!
Then is was Nathanial's turn...
He was happy when it was finally his turn...
Just look at his face...
Mario jammies!
Then it was my turn...
Last but not least was Ryan,  by this time we were being silly
Ryan was acting like it was hard to open
We were laughing pretty hard by the time we were done.
Me and my baby girl
She gives the best kisses!
We were trying to get a picture of the kids in their Christmas jammies...
Emily loves her big brother, Nathanial
She likes to grab him and pull his hair.  Good thing Nathanial thinks it is funny.
Emily loves her big brother, Christopher
They are so cute together!
There is something special between these two!
We put Emily to bed and then read Luke 2 while the boys acted it out with the Little People's Nativity.

Before we headed to bed the boys put out treats for Santa and the reindeer
rice crispies and carrots
...and to all a good night!

Love how you were able to capture the looks on their faces as they opened their jammies! Super FUN! I love the idea of them acting out the Christmas story with the toys ... clever and sweet!
