Going to see Mitt Romney

Politics: It is said that there are two things that you should never talk about, politics and religion. Well this post is talking about politics and our support for Mitt Romney.  If you do not agree with this then feel free to ignore this post, if you support Mitt Romney then you might like this post.
On our way to Stake Conference we saw this sign on the side of a cliff in Kirtland area.
Sunday, October 21st
On Monday, October 29th, Mitt Romney was making an appearance in Avon Lake, Ohio (about an hour from here) so a few members of our ward decided that we would take our kids to go and see Mitt Romney.  I kept Nathanial out of school that day so that he could come with us.
We arrived an hour early and we had to go to the overflow, since there wasn't a screen or anything that we could see Romney give his speech he made a special appearance to the overflow and gave us a little speech.
Nathanial was on my shoulders taking these pictures, I couldn't get very close because Emily was freaking out so we were in the back.
This is how close some of our friends were...
Then there was us
He shook my friend Angela's hand and her kids.
Our group minus a few others who left before we could get a picture: Baker's (Angela, Anela, Wyatt, and Droston), Day's (Ali and Elizabeth), Call's (Lisa and Kimball), Cutler's (Dominica and Ellie), Parks' (Sarah and Emily), and Jensen's (Kara, Nathanial, Christopher, and Emily).
I am glad that we went.  Nathanial was really interested in this election, he was one of 25 who voted for Romney out of his entire school (K-5th).  I am proud of him for standing up for what he believes in and not folding under pressure from those around him. Nathanial was really excited to see Mitt Romney.

Although meeting Mitt Romney was a great experience, I think the highlight of the trip for the boys was riding the school bus to the parking lot where we parked.
