Rockefeller Park Greenhouse

On April 11th I was watching my good friend's kids while she took her baby in to the hospital for her pre-op appointment, she was having open heart surgery on the 13th.  My prayers were and still are with this amazing family!  You can read about sweet Evie on their family blog HERE

Easter

This Easter was Emily's first.  We started off the celebrations with an Easter Egg Hunt at the church.  They have all the parents bring 12 eggs for each child and then they hide them and the kids get to take home 12 eggs each.  Before the hunt began I tried to take a picture of all 3 kids...
I think Emily looks A LOT like Nathanial
Christopher was not happy that we had to wait
This is the best one of all 3.  Why is it so hard to get a good picture?
At last the Easter Egg hunt began, the boys knew what to do...

After the kids found their eggs they sat at the table to see what was inside.
We even gave Emily a licorice
After the Easter Egg hunt we headed over to the Case Farm for another Easter Egg Hunt that Case Alliance Dental Association (CADA) was putting on.  I was the one who organized it.  It was really fun, we had several "snacks" and a TON of eggs.  It was pretty muddy outside so we had the eggs inside.

Emily was able to find a few!
That night all the kids needed a bath, while in the bath Emily decided that the shark would taste pretty good after eating all the candy.

On Easter morning the boys woke up to find that the Easter bunny had come.

This year was my first chance to make an Easter dress.  I made Emily's dress out of a light pink Satin with a pink and green flower overlay with a green flower sash.  It turned out SO CUTE!
Before church on Easter we headed over to the Case Farm to take some pictures of the kids in their Easter clothes.  Why is it so hard to get 3 kids to take a good picture?
Christopher, Emily, and Nathanial (this is the best one) :(
They had fun taking this one, I wish I would have traded Nathanial and Christopher places.

Nathanial is a little stinker!  Of the numerous pictures that I took you would think that I would be able to get at least one of Nathanial looking somewhat normal.  This is the only one that he looks normal in...
Christopher is such a ham when it comes to pictures, I love his pouty faces
So handsome!

I love this little guy
He was done.
Emily is such a little poser when it comes to pictures, which I hope she keeps throughout the years.
I kept this picture because you can see her tooth.
We had to put in a tongue picture.
As we drove from the farm to the church (about 3 blocks) there were 4 wild turkeys in the road.
After church we drove to Kirtland where they were having a special art exhibit called "Redeemer" and thought that it would be a great thing to do on Easter.  The drawings were amazing.  After we looked at the art exhibit we took a short tour of the Kirtland visitors center.
