Visit From Grandma and Grandpa Jensen

October 4, 2011: We arrived in Cleveland about an hour after Clay and Karen.  We rode the shuttle over to the rental car place where we rode back to our house together.  Ryan was there when we got home and it was nice to see him.  That was the longest we have been apart the entire time that we have been married. We sat and relaxed at the house for a few minutes until we headed to Olive Garden for dinner. After dinner we went home and went to bed.  We were all very tired.
October 5, 2011: The next day we headed downtown to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  I didn't realize that it was on the coast of Lake Erie.  We decided that during Ryan's spring break we will have to take a tour of the ships.
There were several floors in the museum and all sorts of odd things hanging from the ceiling.
Like this hotdog car...

Janis Joplin's Porsche
They didn't allow photography in the various exhibits.  I have to say that music sure has changed over the years.  I think that I prefer the "oldies" versus new rock and roll.
The boys by the HUGE guitars
Micheal Jackson Guitar
The kitty guitar
The boys were done by the time we hit the 3rd-4th floor (there were 6) so I took them outside to play.
The famous Rock and Roll pyramid
After we finished at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame we headed over to The Hard Rock Cafe.  I have never been there and was excited to go.  They had a Smashing Pumpkins Drum set hanging on the wall.  The food didn't disappoint.
After we finished eating we headed over to Clay and Karen's hotel to play in the pool...
Can she get any cuter?
Hanging out in the hotel room.
There was a couple that came in to swim while we were there but they didn't get into the hot tub until we left.  Later as we were leaving Ryan was coming out of the elevator and heard them say in the adjacent elevator that they should have called child protective services because we had 3 kids in the hot tub.  We just laughed.
October 6, 2011: On Thursday, we headed to Patterson's Fruit Farm.  We came here our first year and the boys had a blast.
Our Pumpkin Farm
The boys were in heaven with all the tractors.  I think they could have stayed and played all day on the tractors...
There were several things for the boys to do. A large slide, pedal tractors, walking on logs, stilts, sandbox, teepee, and a ton of other stuff.

After we finished playing at Patterson's we headed to Red Lobster for Nathanial. He REALLY wanted to go.  I think that we started our kids out on sea food too early.  They both really like lobster, crab, and shrimp.
After we ate we headed over to the hotel for another night of swimming.
October 7, 2011: Friday Ryan and the boys left with Clay and Karen to drive to Scott and Denisse's in Virginia.  I drove down later with Emily.  Scott and Denisse were blessing their baby girl, Brooke on Sunday.  The great thing about cousins is it doesn't matter how long you are apart when you see each other again you are best friends.

Playing trains
October 8, 2011: While waiting for Clay and Karen to come over the kids and Scott built a fort.
This boy is the cutest little imp!
There were three baby girls born in the Jensen family.  Emily and Ari were born in May and Brooke was born in August.
Emily is such a petite little girl and Brooke is a chunk!
I LOVE these BIG blue eyes!

Later Saturday we headed over to a park in Virginia.  The kids had a ton of fun running around playing...
Before we left the park we took a ride on the carousel...
Christopher, Grandpa, and Nathanial
Sunday we headed to Church where Scott blessed Brooke Kate Jensen.  If you want to see other pictures of our trip to Virginia click on Denisse's Blog HERE.
On the drive home we passed this exit and had to take a picture...
It was a great trip to Idaho; it was great to have Clay and Karen come and visit; it was great to go to Virginia; but it was great to be back home.
