Youth Conference 2014 Nauvoo, Illinois

This year our Stake youth conference was to Nauvoo. I really wanted to go but Ryan couldn't take time off work so we flew Lanie out to stay with the kids during the day so that I could go. 

It started early Thursday morning.  We arrived at the church at 3:30 AM.  The busses were 30 minutes late due to the fact that a bus driver overslept.  Shortly after we started out one of the Charter busses was not working properly. We could not continue our trip so the busses pulled into the Menards parking lot where we sat for 4 hours while the mechanics worked on the bus. 

Once we arrived in Nauvoo it was about 5 in the evening so we had our dinner, thanks to the Moos family for cooking, it was AMAZING!!

Our Trip to Idaho

On June 28th we headed to Idaho for a fun filled week.  First we stopped at my mom's and Paul's house where we had lots of fun playing with my family...

On Monday we met up with April and Angel and took the kids to the Idaho Falls Zoo

Later Monday evening Ryan and his dad took the kids fishing...

Tuesday we went to i-jump with Lanie...

Tuesday we headed to Island Park with the Miles Family and the Hatten Family. We went to the Playmill Theater and saw Beauty and the Beast Tuesday evening. Wednesday we went rafting. Thursday we took pictures and went to Mesa Falls...

That evening we headed to the river to watch the BIGGEST FIREWORKS SHOW WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI!!!

We had a great time in Idaho. As always we the time goes by way too fast. On our way home we stopped at Candy's house in Wyoming and stayed the night and went to Church with their family. We ended up staying up way too late talking!
